Day 303 of 365 Day Jamaican Music Challenge - Winston Hussey - Joe Grine Last Night

Keeping with the "seedy" subject matter for another track... this one is called "Joe Grine Last Night" by the man Winston Hussey.  For those who are unfamiliar, a Joe Grine is a man who carries on an affair with another man's wife.  But when you throw in Junjo at the helm, Flabba Holt's thumping bassline, a spectacular uplifting horn riff and Hussey delivering a smooth scorned-lover vocal that would make even Gregory Isaacs proud, adultery never sounded so goddamn sweet.  Hussey learns the hard way after fleeing the scene on his indiscretion in "borrowed pajamas" with an armed jilted husband in pursuit that it doesn't pay to mess around with another man's woman but as the listener, we're glad he did.  Originally released on Volcano and repackaged in the UK as a 12" on Greensleeves in 1983, it is an absolute killer!
