The 2016 Jamaican Halloween Spooktacular Pre-Game Festivities

And so it begins… on Monday that is… the 11th Annual Jamaican Halloween Spooktacular is coming to this very blog to give you chills, thrills and many a nightmare-clouded sleepless night throughout the month of October!  Like before, you will be getting a new track for each weekday throughout the month complete with a write-up by myself or one of the list of great guys/good friends who have graciously volunteered to do guest spots again this year.  Now all 21 tracks in this years Spooktacular will stand-alone… they are perfectly suitable for listening as you download them but the real fun comes when you collect 'em all, assemble them in a playlist and listen to them in order because this is one seamless mix complete with sound effects, movie dialog, b-movie trailers and assorted other obscure audio spookiness.  If you've been here before you know the territory but if you're new, I invite you to give it a try.  Believe it or not, not only am I a huge fan of Jamaican music as you probably can guess but I am also a lifelong devotee to Halloween, scary movies, horror comics, spooky sound effects, etc. and during this month I get the chance to combine my two passions.  Come on and give it a try!  The worse than can happen is that you'll discover a new favorite Halloween tune because god knows if you have to hear Michael Jackson's Thriller or The Monster Mash one more time things are really gonna get scary.  Come on in if you dare, we'll leave the crypt door open for ya!
