Day 336 of 365 Day Jamaican Music Challenge - The Chuckles - Darkest Night Version

Yes, it's officially October and now it's time to bring the spooky!  And while we're still two days away from diving into the 2016 Jamaican Halloween Spooktacular it makes complete sense, at least to me, that we start setting the mood with one of my favorite ominous instrumentals.  It's called "Darkest Night Version" by Keith Hudson's studio band The Chuckles and it comes from a 2004 double CD set on Trojan called The Hudson Affair.  Originally used by me as the closer to the 2007 Spooktacular under a creepy poem by beloved horror host John "The Cool Ghoul" Zacherle, it has all the sinister sound you could ever wish for in a reggae track.  This instrumental version of Keith "The Dark Prince Of Reggae" Hudson's "Darkest Night On A Wet Looking Road" features a downbeat rhythm accentuated with some positively evil fuzzy guitar that completely exudes danger.  A great way to get this month, and the final month of the 365 Day Jamaican Music Challenge I might add, started right.
