Time to dust off the cobwebs and get things rollin' again!

Yes, its been forever since I've updated or posted on the blog here but now that I've got a bunch of stuff off my plate you should start seeing some more action around here coming up in the next week or so. Thanks to all of those who have left comments about the "newer" mixes and those who still happen across some of the older active mixes and take the time to say thanks - it's really appreciated!

I've got a mix in the works not to mention another installment of the Volcano Version Excursion so stay put!

I am really happy to see you posting again. It is always a pleasure to dip into my collection of your mixes and discover a "new" classic. I have returned to the Take 5 mix a lot lately and learned some real appreciation for the Mighty Diamonds. So thanks and respect for broadening minds.

Very interesting site. Were you by chance at Indiana University in the mid-80's? There was an evening reggae show on the college station that played the Blue Riddim Band, which is where I first heard them. It played a really great mix of stuff: LKJ, Mighty Diamonds, Steel Pulse, Burning Spear, Heptones, etc. And then the show just disappeared, only playing for a summer, I think.

Another Volcano Mix would be wonderful. Where do you get these things?

The Volcano mixes involve ripping the B-sides of my Junjo collection... either records on the Volcano, Jah Guidance or Arrival label then just mixing 'em up... I gotta get off my lazy ass and rip some vinyl so I can get another one up... I'm surprised at how popular this mix has been.
